This upright vacuum offers some of the best pet cleaning power available, with Lift-Off Technology that provides the power of an upright with the convenience of a portable vacuum. When used as an upright vacuum, you can turn the brush roll on or off, making it easy to switch from hard floors to carpets. When used as a portable canister vacuum, the PowerGlide Lift-Off works with the Pet TurboEraser tool. Together they clean cat hair, dog hair, and other messes from soft, above-floor surfaces.

The Bissell Powerglide Lift-Off Pet Plus features other specialized tools like the Pet Hair Eraser tool, Crevice Tool/Dusting Brush, and an extension wand. Together, the Lift-Off canister works with the hose and pet tools to clean pet hair off stairs, upholstery, and other surfaces that pet hair accumulates in. The Pet Hair Eraser tool pulls out embedded pet hair.

To adjust the variable suction, locate the variable suction control valve on the hose wand base. To decrease suction (for delicate carpets, rugs, or curtains) twist suction controls counterclockwise. To increase the suction, twist it clockwise again.

For above-floor cleaning, push the green button to remove the Lift-Off canister. Attach the desired tools. To get the most reach, attach the extension wand first and then the combination dusting/crevice tool. For best results on stairs, attach the Pet TurboEraser tool.

When youve finished using the Lift-Off canister and tools, remove the attachments. Replace the canister onto the vacuum. Align the front with the vacuum base, and lean the canister back, locking it into place.
